It’s being reported all over the place that Tiger Woods will be playing at The Masters this year. Many speculated that he would come back to golf fairly quickly, maybe even for the PGA Championship in August, but to be coming back this quickly is certainly a surprise.
From the article:
“The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it’s been a while since I last played,” Woods said. “When I finally got into a position to think about competitive golf again, it became apparent to me that the Masters would be the earliest I could play.”
This news will certainly bring some excitement to the Masters, which is now less than a month away, and may spark Masters Badges sales as fans take advantage of lower than usual ticket prices.

Paul McCartney is at it again! It’s been five years since his last American tour and Paul is ready to rev up his tour bus once again. Besides a quick summer tour and a brief headlining appearance in 2009 this is the first American tour for Sir Paul in the last 5 years ago.
His latest tour is titled, “Up and Coming” and with the arrival of the new Beatles Rock Band it’s an ideal title for the singer song writer. Mr. McCartney has somehow made himself relevant in the main stream music industry all while being enthroned as a musical icon.
The “Up and Coming” tour opens with its first show March 28, 2010 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ. This will be the first time Paul has performed in the state of Arizona in the last 5 years. From there McCartney will jet set to California’s Hollywood Bowl. Paul has not performed at this venue since 1993. It was 46 years ago when the famous live album, “The Beatles at Hollywood Bowl” was recorded.
The tour promises a 2 hour show with a mixed medley of Beatles, Wings and Solo ventures. Paul also promises to play a never performed on American ground, Golden Globe nominated song titled, “I want to come home” from the Robert De Niro film “Everybody’s fine.”
Five tour dates have been scheduled so far and include, Sunday, March 28th in Glendale, Arizona at the Jobing.com Arena. Tuesday, March 30th in Los Angeles, California at Hollywood Bowl. Wednesday, March 31st in Los Angeles, California at Hollywood Bowl. Saturday, April 3rd in Miami, Florida at Sun Life Stadium and Monday April 5th in Puerto Rico at Colliseo De Puerto Rico. The press release is calling this tour an “all embracing road trip” with more dates to follow.
There is also an exclusive press sale on Tuesday 2/23 at 11am MST/10am PST. General sales for Paul McCartney concert tickets start Sunday 2/28 at 11am MST/10 am PST. For more information on Paul McCartney concert tickets you can visit www.PaulMcartney.com.
Premium Paul McCartney tickets will be available in greater quantities after the weekend on-sale.
